Betta Grower Selective Herbicide is used for the control of broadleaf weeds in lawns. A blend of MCPA and Dicamba it forms an efficient method of weed control.

Broadleaf weeds can be described as those that are flat weeds and often have white or yellow flowers and include unwanted clovers, bindii, milk thistle and dandelions.

This product will not harm Couch, Kentucky Bluegrass, Kikuyu or any fine grasses when used at recommended strength, however, it should not be used on lawns that contain Buffalo, Strawberry Clover, Lipia or Dichondra.

One (1) litre bottle diluted covers 300m2. Mix 50ml of Selective Herbicide with 4 litres of water and spray over 15m2 of lawn or turf.

Do not spray if weeds are wilted or if rain is likely within 6 hours. Do not mow for 7 days after treatment. The best time to kill weeds is when they are growing strongly and higher success can be achieved by spraying rather than using a watering can.

Avoid direct spraying of useful plants. Avoid spraying under windy conditions.

Store in the closed original container in a well-ventilated area, as cool as possible. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Store in a place away from children, animals, foodstuffs, seeds and fertilizers. Place the empty container in the waste bin – do not re-use.

NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE, OR IN ANY MANNER, CONTRARY TO THIS LABEL UNLESS AUTHORISED UNDER APPROPRIATE LEGISLATION.

Using Selective Weed Killer

A selective weed killer is a type of herbicide that is designed only to kill a certain type of soil while leaving lawns and grasses unaffected. This is a useful product to have when weeds are growing within or very close to desirable plants or grass. Selectives are often used in situations such as weeds in lawns, turf or paddocks where you want to kill a weed, but keep the grass.

Betta Grower Selective Weed Killer is used for the control of broadleaf weeds in lawns and forms a very efficient method of weed control. This product will not harm Couch, Kentucky Bluegrass, or any fine grasses when it is used at the recommended strength.
