They can reduce water wastage, increase the length of time between waterings and help to improve plant survival during dry periods.
The crystals absorb water to release back to plants when they require it, then biodegrade harmlessly at the end of their lifespan. The crystals rehydrate with the addition of any rain or irrigation and remain effective for to up to 12 months. Apply them when planting new or existing container plants, or in-ground plants.
